Village Culture Services are organized around our community's needs, with a strong emphasis on educational resources, on family, and especially on the welfare of our children. Included among them are our Community Center with its many offerings for children and parents alike, and our public swimming pool that includes swimming lessons and community activities like "Swimming under the stars."
Ballston Spa Central School District
The Ballston Spa Central School District is committed to meeting the educational needs of each student. In partnership with the family and community, the District strives to prepare each student intellectually, emotionally, physically and socially, while encouraging individual talents and abilities.
The District serves over 4.500 students from preschool through Grade 12. Its elementary program consists of Milton Terrace Primary School (Grades K-2) and Malta Avenue and Wood Road Intermediate Schools (Grades 3-5). The secondary schools are Ballston Spa Middle School (Grades 6-8) and Ballston Spa High School (Grades 9-12). In September 1998, a new High School opened with state-of-the-art computer and science labs, a modern library media center, auditorium, and swimming pool. The District offers comprehensive programs from Head Start to Continuing Education courses for adults.
The District’s motto –Educating Everyone Takes Everyone – is a concept that bears itself out in every aspect of the community. More than 700 educators and support staff make up the District’s dedicated team of employees.
